“The good man is the friend of all living things.” —Gandhi
A small break from the mythical creatures series .I drew one of my favorites animals that, unfortunately are endangered. Earth Day is a good time to reinforce our own green habits and possibly change the actions of those around us
That is a beautiful saying by Gandhi and this is a beautiful drawing by you! The Snow Leopard is one of my Favourites as well. It's a shame we as a Race have killed most of them. I can see them in my mind in the high forests and mountains; but I know I'll never see one outside of a Zoo. It's a great Beauty and a great Sadness.
Outside of Earth Day, I think of the coming up of little peony shoots and my Bleeding Hearts already 4" high. The Woodruff is coming back and it looks like the cat-mint has conquered the second of the front beds. It's different from catnip but my cats don't seem to notice the difference. Did you plan on putting two little black cats in here or am I seeing a few lines I mistook for one....and She meowed very loudly at me so She must be there.
You're right. I went back and looked again and what I thought was another cat was a few lines that "could" look like a cat. My batch of 5 agree that there should be more Cats....but there's only so much window-seats for the ones I have!
I do wish more people were concerned about animals, and not only the endangered ones, but even common strays. That being said, amazing doodle and I'm glad you're keeping this up. Makes me curious if I could attempt doing this as well... to a major procrastinator drawing every day seems unbelievable -_-

Kuro: ZZZZZZ Leopard: Lick. Yum.
Beautiful doodle! Sadly, with everyone focused on consumerism, thinking it is the way to go for riches and such... Many people forgot pretty much everything else. "Going green" is actually something I try to avoid to say as the big corporations have turned it into marketing and kind of destroyed the saying. Heck, even the labels "organic" and "natural" has been hijack by big companies who had their lobbyist made it hard for true organic growers to get the label on their foods. Hence why I prefer to go with self reliance and working to make a difference not just locally, but facing the bigger problems as well. Which is pretty scary if you known what governments and corporations have done. Though, upside, your never alone as there are pretty of people who think the same way are you, but with different solutions in mind.
